What would we do without cows and covered bridges? Since the beginning they have been among my favorite subjects to paint. In the rare moment when I was tired of painting a traditional covered bridge, I put my brush down (which at that time was actually a soft pastel), became fidgety, tied a piece of grass in a not, and eureka!
W. Alan Morse is an artist painting in Vermont where his family and he reside. He paints a variety of subjects, with landscapes currently being his main focus. Alan uses a multitude of methods and media to communicate his creative needs and to express his vision. "Art has been a journey for me with plenty of twists and turns along the way, and there’s still no end in sight." Painting is a tool for him to explore his inner and outer world, and to share that with others, "I enjoy providing individuals, families, and businesses with artwork that lives on the walls and becomes part of their everyday lives. This is what drives me forward, to live and love with vibrancy and color." New artwork will be added to this site periodically, and will be available for sale soon, "Spread some kindness, delight in the hour, and embrace the day."
